Frequently asked questions

For aspiring guides

Do I need professional guiding experience?

Definitely not. What matters most is your love of nature and good knowledge of your local area. Photographers need authentic knowledge of the places, animal trails and the best sunrises — not memorised historical facts.

Do I need to know how to photograph or own good gear?

No — your job is simply to lead the person to the right place at the right time. The client takes care of all the photography.

How long does one trip take?

Morning or evening outings usually last about 2–3 hours, but you can always set the exact duration and terms yourself.

What if the weather is bad on the agreed day?

You can't predict nature, so we keep it simple. If the weather is poor, the planned time can easily be rescheduled, stress-free. Everyone understands that good shots need the right weather.

For participants

Will the guide teach me photography?

No — our guides are local nature experts, not photography teachers. Their goal is to take you to hidden, little-known spots at the best time (for example, mist rising before dawn), but you create the shot yourself.

Do I need professional camera gear?

Definitely not. Whether you come with a professional camera or just want to capture moments on your phone — what matters most is the desire to see unique wildlife.

How will I find out the exact meeting place and time?

Before booking you'll see only an approximate location. After booking we'll get in touch, agree an exact time convenient for both sides, and send you the precise meeting coordinates.

Do the trips require special physical fitness?

Usually normal everyday activity is enough. Since you'll be walking in the wild (for example, forest paths or peat bogs), the main thing is comfortable, water-resistant footwear and clothing suited to the weather.
